GSA: in the world for more than 800 models of HSDPA-devices

The Organization GSA (Global mobile Suppliers Association) published the results of another study on the spread of the world's cellular standards HSPA. As of September 7, worldwide there were 805 models of products with support for HSDPA standard and 97 - HSUPA. The devices represented 129 suppliers.

Of the 805 models HSDPA-devices:
• 384 mobile phone and UMPC
• 120 maps PCMCIA, ExpressCard, chipsets and embedded modules
• 118 laptops
• 102 USB-modem
• 73 wireless router
• 7 personal Media
• 1 camera
Also, all 805 models of these devices:

• 500 supports download speed up to 3.6 Mbps, including 228 devices with peak download speeds of 7.2 Mbps
• 637 devices (more than 92%) operate at a frequency of 2100 MHz
• 307 devices (more than 44%) operate at a frequency of 850 MHz
• 224 staff have been in contact in three bands 850/1900/2100 MHz
• 33 models operate at a frequency of 900 MHz
• 97 devices support HSUPA, including 28 with a peak speed of 5.76 Mbps
• Over 80% also supports GSM / EDGE
• 184 staff (over 26%) have the support of Wi-Fi 802.11
• 142 devices (more than 20%) have a GPS-receiver
• 58 models supported mobile TV
