HTC revenues grow over 33% on year in August

High Tech Computer (HTC) has posted revenues of NT$12.71 billion (US$398.4 million) for August, up 11.1% on month and also up 33.6% on year.

For the first eight months of 2008, revenues amounted to NT$91.47 billion, up 32.5% from a year earlier, the company said.

With HTC's CDMA-version Touch Diamond handsets to begin selling in the US market in September, the company will be able to sustain its projected revenues of NT$38 billion for the third quarter, the Chinese-language Commercial Times quoted sources at Taiwan-based securities houses as indicating.
