KDDI-HTC Partnership Brings HTC Products to Japan

~ First Product, the KDDI E30HT Smartphone, Set for Spring 2009 Launch ~

Taoyuan Taiwan - HTC Corporation (TWSE: 2498), a global leader in mobile phone innovation and design, announced a partnership with KDDI, one of the Japanese largest telecommunications companies, to sell HTC handsets across Japan. The two companies, KDDI and Okinawa Cellular Phone, announced that they would be unveiling the first model, the E30HT smartphone, from September 28th to October 4th at CEATEC, Japan’s largest electronics products exhibition.

Commercial sales of the E30HT are slated for spring 2009. The model will support KDDI plans to deliver a broader, more innovative array of 3G products and services to its customers.
