The number of cellular subscribers in Uzbekistan has reached 10 million

The number of subscribers of cellular communication networks in Uzbekistan amounted to more than 10.2 million. According to the State Commission on radio frequency, during the August increase in subscriber base of over 635.4 thousand people.

Interestingly, on August 1, the number of users of mobile communications in the country was about 9.6 million, and in early 2008 in Uzbekistan, there were about 5.9 million subscribers of cellular communication.

According to the forecasts of analysts, by the end of this year, the number of mobile users can move closer to 13 million. Today in Uzbekistan operates five mobile operators: MTS-Uzbekistan ( "Uzdunrobita", the standard GSM), Unitel (Trademark "Beeline", GSM), COSCOM (Trademark Ucell, GSM), Rubicon Wireless Communication (Trademark Perfectum Mobile, CDMA) and Uzbektelecom Mobile (Trademark Uzmobile, CDMA).
