Chuunghwa Telecom (CHT) on June 10 reported self-estimated net profit of NT$3.61 billion (US$111 million) for May 2009, with January-May net profit of NT$18.3 billion translating into net earnings per share (EPS) of NT$1.89.
CHT had about 1.29 million FTTx (fiber to the home/building) subscribers and 460,000 8Mbps ADSL subscribers as of the end of May 2009, the company indicated.
Taiwan Mobile (TWM) and Far EasTone Telecommunications (FET), have also released their financial figures for May 2009.
