SEATTLE -- NetMotion Wireless, a leading provider of mobile productivity and management software, announced its award-winning mobile Virtual Private Network (VPN), Mobility XE(TM), successfully achieved Enterprise Mobility validation by completing Motorola's Enterprise Mobility Validated Solution Program, which includes joint testing at the Motorola Solution Center located in Holtsville, N.Y.
Mobility XE mitigates common challenges in mobile deployments, including: end-to-end security, application persistence as users move in and out of wireless coverage areas, device and policy management, and seamless roaming between Wi-Fi and wide-area cellular data networks. NetMotion software is deployed at more than 1,700 organizations worldwide, enhancing mobile worker productivity in many industries including utilities, healthcare, communications, public safety, local government, and transportation.

Motorola's Enterprise Mobility Validated Solutions Program enables partners to test and validate their mobility solutions on Motorola products to help ensure interoperability and meet the customer application-specific needs, as well as reduce both the risk level and the time to deployment for the customer. As part of this effort, Mobility XE was tested and co-validated on select Motorola products, including the MC55 and MC75 enterprise digital assistants (EDA).
