Processor roadmap for 2011-2013 Qualcomm

The network has information about what processors are going to Qualcomm's release in the next three years. Accidentally available for public viewing inside the PDF document mainly concerns LTE-chipsets, but also reports on future processor family Krait, built on 28 nm process technology and are dual-core system on a chip. The first of these will be available in the market for less than six months. Despite the fact that officials from Qualcomm demanded from network resources to remove all links and screenshots of the document, information about these developments are still available. The first system on a chip MSM8960, certified for use with Windows 8 will be carried out in the fourth quarter of this year: • Dual-Core 1.5-1.7 GHz Krait / L2 1MB • 2x500 MHz LPDDR2 • LTE FDD / TDD CAT3 (8960); DC-HSPA (8270) 21HSPA + (8260A) TD-SCDMA (8960, 8260A) • 1080p HD video-up to 30 k / s ; 3D MP 20 • Adreno 225 125 000 000 3D/2D triangles per second (DirectX9.3) in the third quarter of 2012 will be a budget version of the MSM8930, which will be different single-channel memory, lower clock speeds and less productive graphics accelerator, which will be called Adreno 305. 1.0-1.2 GHz Dual-Core • Krait / L2 1MB • 1x533 MHz LPDDR2 • 1x533 MHz LPDDR2 • LTE Cat2/DC-HSPA + (8930) 21HSPA + (8230) TD-SCDMA • 1080p HD video-up to 30 / s; 3D 12 MP • Adreno 305 3D 80 million triangles per second (DirectX9.3) The most powerful model will appear in the first quarter of 2013. Chipset MSM8974 MSM8964 should be changed: • Quad 2.0-2.5 GHz Krait / L2 2 MB • 2 × 667/800MGts LPDDR3 • Cat4 LTE, HSPA + DC-, 1xAdv/DOrA/B TD-SCDMA • 1080p HD video-up to 30 / with, 30 megapixel 3D • Adreno 320 225 000 000 triangles per second (DirectX9.3)
