LG Optimus G available Nov. 2 for $199.99, preorders start tomorrow
Announced last week as part of the AT&T Unwrapped media event, we are thrilled to announce the LG Optimus G, our first LTE quad core smartphone, will be available for our customers on Nov. 2 for $199.99* with a two-year commitment! Starting tomorrow we’re also taking preorders, click HERE to reserve yours.
This phone is awesome. When you are shopping for a new Android smartphone, you likely run across a list of specifications that may start to sound like a foreign language, especially about processors – dual-core vs. quad-core, 1.2 vs. 1.5 gigahertz – what does it all mean?
In the case of the LG Optimus G, the 1.5 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro processor, 2GB RAM and AT&T’s 4G LTE network means this phone can fly. Not literally of course, but tasks you perform on the phone will be much smoother. From loading web pages, to apps and games, it will get you to what you want, faster.
Don’t take my word for it, but see what the media had to say:
My immediate impression of the Optimus G is that it’s fast. It’s really, really fast - BGR
Optimus G is more than just the sum of its powerful parts - LaptopMag
In sum, it's one of the best phones I've seen from LG - Phone Scoop
Advanced features on Optimus G like QSlide and Live Zooming were made possible thanks to the powerful specs under the hood. Q Slide lets the user utilize two apps at once through the use of overlay multilevel viewing. Want to send a text message while watching a movie? No problem. And like all AT&T’s smartphones, Optimus G lets you talk and surf the web at the same time with simultaneous voice and data.
So check out powerful yet elegant Optimus G in our stores on Nov. 2! We’re excited to put it in our customers’ hands so they can try it out for themselves.
*Requires Mobile Share Plan or eligible Voice Plan of $39+ and approved DataPro or DataPlus plan.
