Company Toshiba today announced its plans to reorganize the production of mobile phones, which should serve to facilitate more effective use of foreign outsourcing. Implementation of these measures will affect plant Hino Operations for the production of mobile phones for the Japanese market, as well as overseas production facilities, and repair service since October 2009. Hino Operations will become the global headquarters for the production of mobile phones, from which will control and manage all outsorsingovyh and maintenance service companies. It also will center on developing new models and their design.
About 200 employees in manufacturing mobile phones in Hino, will be transferred to new positions within the Toshiba Group.
