IBM invests $ 100 million on research in the field of mobile communication

Despite the crisis, large companies continue to spend considerable funds for all kinds of research purposes. Here and IBM Corporation announced its plans to invest $ 100 million over the next five years, a key research initiative aimed at improving the mobile services and opportunities for corporate and consumer sectors around the world.

IBM invests in the creation of technology in their research laboratories to ensure simple and convenient service to millions of people who do not use a personal computer as their main mode of access to the internet, but, instead, use their mobile devices for financial transactions, entertainment, shopping , management roving employees, and more.

Through this initiative, IBM is seeking to integrate the intellectual capabilities of the base platform for the mobile Web, and bring added efficiency of business operations and daily schedule. The three main areas of research investment IBM are: the implementation of mobile enterprise, mobile services for emerging and developing markets, new mobile capabilities to corporate end users. Research projects will be enclasp areas such as analytics, information security, data privacy, as well as user interface and navigation tools in the networks.
