SED International Holdings Enhances Linecard

TUCKER, Ga., -- SED International Holdings, Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: SECX), a multinational supply chain management provider and distributor of leading computer technology, wireless communications and consumer electronics, announced key product line additions for its channel partners and retailers in the United States and Latin America.

Vendor partners recently added to SED's linecard include both leading and emerging vendors within specific product categories, providing the Company's customers with more opportunities for sales and profit growth.

Recently completed distribution agreements were signed with Pure Digital, Haier, Viewsonic, Sherwood, Storage Appliance Corp, Z-Line, Surface, IOGEAR, Asante, Mobile Edge, SIIG, Cables to Go, and eVGA Latin America.

"Our newest relationships fit well with established vendor partners. It is an ongoing priority for SED to seek out partnerships which provide more options for our customers and create substantial growth opportunities for all three parties: dealers, vendors, and SED," said Jonathan Elster, President and COO of SED International Holdings, Inc.

Pure Digital offers the market share leader in compact digital camcorders with the Flip Video line. "This is a good example of a product line that can help our dealers quickly grow their business, capitalizing on a very popular category and product, while helping the vendor by bringing new dealers and incremental sales from various channel segments," said Elster. SED has a strong and unique following of small to medium independent dealers within the computer, consumer electronics and cellular channels. "Those are markets we cater to and believe it pays off by creating more value for all the partners," Elster added.

Haier, Viewsonic, and Sherwood were brought on as part of the Company's rapid growth plans within the Consumer Electronics industry, specifically in television and home theater products. "Adding these lines to our LG, Samsung, Sansui and Panasonic Pro partnerships, provides our dealers with an extremely strong lineup and the ability to make choices based on their model and end-user profile," said Tom Roper, VP and GMM of Consumer Electronics Purchasing for SED International Holdings, Inc.

Z-Line, a leader in home theater furniture, and Surface, a division of Audiovox Accessories Products, provide important margin and add-on sale opportunities for audio / video dealers and others with home theater product sales. "It is very important that dealers are able to provide a complete offering, and these higher margin categories are usually key to prosperous growth," stated Roper.

Storage Appliance Corp, IOGEAR, Asante, SIIG, Mobile Glove, and Cables to Go particularly enhance the Company's IT offerings. Clickfree from Storage Appliance Corp is an exciting new computer storage product which makes backing up data remarkably fast and simple; IOGEAR offers a large and unique selection of computer, CE and digital signage accessories; Asante is re-launching a high-value brand of Ethernet solutions; SIIG offers a well respected line of connectivity products for the computer and digital signage markets; Mobile Glove is the benchmark for high-quality notebook and netbook bags and cases; and Cables to Go is the leader in computer cabling and electronic connectivity products. "Although we have been in this business for almost 30 years now, there are always new technologies, trends and emerging players that require you to forge new relationships in order to stay fresh and current," said Barry Diamond, Vice President of Product Management for SED International Holdings, Inc.

eVGA Latin America was added to the Company's Export division, managed out of its Miami office. eVGA is the market leader in Nvidia graphics products and was looking to strengthen its presence in Latin America. SED is a major supplier of products into South America, Central America and the Caribbean. "eVGA is a great addition to our export linecard," said Yvonne Portuondo, GM of Latin America for SED International Holdings, Inc. "Our customers will appreciate this line as both our sales staff in Miami and in-country field representatives introduce it throughout the Latin American markets," Portuondo added.
