Glide Engage is a rights-based social networking and micro-blogging service that enables users to send and read messages that carry Breaking News, documents, images and other files and share their thoughts. Users can create text-based posts of up to 1,400 characters that are displayed on the user's profile page and that are accessible by other users that find the author "Engaging." Discussions can be archived as Glide Write, Microsoft Word 2007 or earlier, PDF or RTF.

Glide Engage integrates the Glide OS rights based and synchronized file sharing system so that users can share their documents, photos, drawings etc. that are synchronized from their local desktops in posts with one click.
