Orange launches UK wide Monkey Hologram Gigs featuring Pixie Lott, N-Dubz & Tinchy Stryder

Today Orange announced a series of Orange Monkey Hologram Gigs set to take place in five shopping centres around the UK and featuring hologram performances from ‘Mama Do’ singing sensation Pixie Lott, MOBO Award winning N-Dubz and the UK’s ‘Number One’ Tinchy Stryder. The UK’s first ever multi artist hologram tour celebrates the launch of Monkey, Orange’s brand new Pay As You Go tariff with 4Music, which gives you free music and text messages just for topping up £10 a month.

Kicking off at Lakeside Centre on Saturday 19 and Sunday 20 September, the gigs will continue for a consecutive four weekends at Birmingham’s Bullring, Sheffield’s Meadowhall, Bristol’s Cabots Circus and Manchester’s Arndale Centre respectively. Orange staff will be at the venue giving out free Monkey SIM cards as well as £10 off any Pay As You Go handset over £29 for those who sign up to the tariff in the venue’s Orange store that weekend. Tinchy Stryder will be showcasing his brand new single at the gigs and there will also be a chance for fans to meet N-Dubz when they make a guest appearance on Sunday 18th October in Manchester’s Arndale Centre. The gigs take place approximately every 20 minutes throughout the weekend from a special Orange Hologram ‘stage’, anyone can watch the hologram gigs, no ticket is required.

· Monkey customers can access the service on their phones by dialling 247. Customers are presented with a choice of 8 pre-set play lists e.g. R&B, Rock, Pop, Chart and playlists from 4Music. These will be refreshed regularly.
· £10 top up gives you 300 free texts and free music. £20 gives you 600 texts, £30 gives you 1,000 texts
· Customers can access the service online by visiting the following site www.orange.co.uk/monkey. Customers can set up 8 of their own playlists on the Music Player and share their unique number(s) with their friends
· Calls cost 20p per minute, 10p per text
· Monkey is packed full of additional features including functionality which allows customers to find out the name of the track they are listening to on their mobiles. The customer just needs to press 5 whilst listening to any track to receive a free text message with the artist name and track title for what they're listening to, plus we save the track in their favourites section on the Monkey website
