The Ministry of Economic Affairs (MOEA) promoted Taiwan Telematics Industry Alliance (TTIA) was formally established on October 2.
Taiwan-based EMS giant Foxconn Electronics (Hon Hai Precision Industry) has already joined the organization while notebook ODMs Quanta Computer, Compal Electronics and Wistron are interested in joining, according to industry sources.
