The network became the fourth operator to launch the device.
The network follows Orange and Tesco Mobile, which both launched the device last year, breaking O2's exclusive contract.
The four are all offering the phone at around the same price; however, Vodafone iPhone customers will get 1GB of 3G data included in their monthly payment. The offer beats the 750MB offered by Orange, but is not as good as O2's package, which offers unlimited data.
Vodafone is offering the older iPhone 3G model free of charge on a £35 per month contract, with a £30, 24 month contract also available. Users will get up to 1GB of data included, and can also use Wi-Fi at home, work and on BT Openzone Wi-Fi networks.
The iPhone is available from Vodafone retail stores, online, via Apple retail outlets, Carphone Warehouse, Phones 4u and 20 selected business dealers.
