Trend Micro, a provider of Internet content security software solutions, on March 31 signed an MOU with Chunghwa Telecom (CHT) for providing cloud computing-based service in the Taiwan market as well as other Asian regions through cooperation with local telecom carriers, according to the companies.
For cloud computing, Trend Micro and the Taiwan-based telecom carrier said they will work to develop an operating system platform based on open source codes, data processing and analytical technologies, information security solutions and handset-based information protection solutions.
