BEIJING -- Today (May 28th), the Mobile Internet Great Wall Club, a CEO member-based industry trade organization, made an announcement that the Global Mobile Internet Conference 2010 has begun. The Global Mobile Internet Conference (GMIC) is designed for executives to capitalize on the growing opportunities in the mobile internet industry, especially in China. The Mobile Internet Great Wall Club talked to stakeholders across the wireless telecommunications industry and two things seem to be on everyone's lips: mobile broadband and smartphones. The club has seen how mobile phone usage is going beyond voice and text, and its transformation into a tool for subscribers to stay constantly connected. GMIC is the place for attendees to get a better understanding of this rising industry.
