CHT to release results of LTE field trial through cooperation with Ericsson

Chunghwa Telecom (CHT) will release the results of LTE (Long Term Evolution) field trial undertaken by its Telecommunication Laboratories through technological cooperation with Ericsson on July 1, with the trial able to provide a real environment for testing interoperability of LTE terminal devices, according to the Taiwan carrier.

CHT said the LTE field trial is one of the testing projects undertaken by its laboratories under the government-sponsored 2009-2013 Networked Communications Program.
