As operator declares, from the middle of 2009 his specialists conducted the second phase of the modernization of the network CDMA, accent in which was made to an increase in the capacitance. In particular, were established 28 base stations (BS) of new coating, and are also carried out 132 expansions existing BS from one to two and 70 expansions from two to three radio-carrier frequencies.
Together with the addition radio-carrier on the majority base stations was also doubled a quantity of flows Of [e]1 (expansion of the capacitance of the net equipment Of data-Link). As a result carried out measures noticeably grew the capacity of CDMA- network, and, as a result, increased the general speed of the operation of service “MTS Of [konnekt] 3G”.
The first phase of the modernization of CDMA- network was conducted at the beginning of 2009 - then in essence expansion was conducted by the installation of new base stations and addition to existing BS of the second radio-carrier frequency.
