HTC Awarded Best in “Innovation” Category for its Many Firsts in Technology
Singapore – Channel NewsAsia Luminary Awards – HTC Corporation, a global designer of smartphones, was honored last week with the industry honor of being awarded the Channel NewsAsia Luminary Award for the “Best in Innovation” category at the awards ceremony held at Raffles Hotel Singapore.
The award follows a year of global momentum for HTC which saw the launch of a large portfolio of industry leading smartphones such as the HTC Desire. HTC was awarded from a list of three finalists that includes Asia’s leading healthcare company, Eu Yan Sang and India’s Tata Consultancy – a worldwide provider of IT services and business solutions. The Innovation Luminary Award is given to a business involved in developing, nurturing or creating new technologies or services or products.
This is the first nomination as well as win for HTC at the Channel NewsAsia Luminary Awards, currently in its 12th edition.
