Technology free cooling, based on the work of ventilation, can reduce consumption by up to 200 watts in a month due to the fence of the air mass from the environment. Specialized equipment will include air temperature 20 degrees and below, which will save about 1,800 rubles per month per base station. Moreover, the use of free cooling technology makes it possible to not only save money but also improves the reliability of the network. In the event of a power conditioner in the summer time the temperature inside the cabinet rises to 70 degrees Celsius, which can lead to "freeze" some of the modules and the need for an emergency exit crew of technicians. Ventilation fans will reduce the risk of overheating in warm weather. Installation of new HVAC equipment is made ​​in the base stations MegaFon in Novosibirsk, Kemerovo, Omsk, Tomsk, Krasnoyarsk Krai and the Republic of Khakassia. By the end of 2012 free cooling technology is based on supply and exhaust ventilation will appear on every other base station of the Siberian MegaFon.
