Nextel and Motorola Mobility Launch the Motorola i475w: iDEN Technology with a Feminine Touch

New product combines rapid communication and multimedia capabilities in an elegant, modern design, available in white with pink and lilac cases

Motorola Industrial Ltda and Nextel are launching a new i475 family model in Brazil, the Motorola i475w, with a modern, elegant design, push-to-talk (PTT) technology, voice and SMS capabilities. Focused on the female audience, the handset is available in white with pink and lilac cases, perfect for the user to match with her clothes and accessories.

The Motorola i475w has a full QWERTY keypad, ideal for women who want rapid communication and messaging. The handset is an efficient communication tool with advanced messaging capabilities: ITAP® predictive text entry technology and threaded messaging, making it easier to view SMS messages, which are organized chronologically on a single screen, providing a more complete communication experience.

“With the launch of the Motorola i475w, Nextel expands its handset portfolio for the female user fully attuned with the latest technologies but not willing to sacrifice her femininity. This launch matches the lifestyle of the modern woman, who is versatile, practical and in synch with fashion trends,” says Mário Fernando Modé, Nextel marketing manager.

“The Motorola i475w offers a new communication experience with the instant, secure connectivity provided by iDEN technology,” said Wagner Mendonça, iDEN sales director, Motorola Mobility Brazil. “The handset is ideal for women who require practical communication allied with an elegant and extremely feminine design.”

The main features of the Motorola i475w include: information sharing at the touch of the PTT button; VGA camera with 4X zoom; Bluetooth® technology for optimized wireless communication; and FM radio.
