TSMC has stopped production of 28-nm chipset

Taiwanese manufacturer of microprocessors, the company TSMC over the past three weeks did not produce a system-on-chip related to the last-generation platform Qualcomm Snapdragon. The stop was associated with some not mentioned the problems that were found in the Snapdragon S4. Officially, the company TSMC does not comment on this informal communication. Like it or not it will be possible to know when will be announced on the delay of deliveries to the smartphone market, constructed based on this chipset. These include the HTC One X and One S, as well as the ASUS Padfone and Panasonic Eluga Power. Chances are, if stopping the production of 28-nm chipset (an anonymous source indicated that the stop of production of 100%), and the impact on the admission of devices to consumers, it announced it officially will not be, so as not to cast a shadow on a new family of processors. It is reported that three weeks is a simple yet going in and out for mass production will only happen by the end of March, which will give more than a month break in production.
