1/10 of all Internet traffic in the world account for the mobile Internet

According Pingdom.com, last less than three years (2010-2012) the share of mobile traffic in the overall share of global Internet usage doubled to one-tenth of the use of network resources. However, if the whole world, its share reached 10% in some regions are already close to the 20% mark. The greatest growth is not demonstrated the developed countries, and Asia - from 2010 to 2012 the share of mobile Internet there has increased by 192%. Europe was only the second highest growth rate - 183%. What's interesting is not much of it behind the markets of the Pacific (162%) and Africa (156%). Outsiders are North (69%) and South America (96%). The most popular mobile Internet was just in Asia and Africa, where its share is 18% and 15% respectively. Europe, despite the rapid growth lags behind North America - 5% to 8%. The lowest proportion of mobile traffic in South America, where it accounts for only 3% of the total. In assessing the impact of individual countries can also be seen that the developed markets show relatively little interest. If the U.S. share of mobile data traffic is 8.61% of the total, and the best indicator of a European Britain (10.71%), the top ten most mobile traffic consuming countries is as follows:

48.87% - India
47.09% - Zambia
44.95% - Sudan
42.36% - Uzbekistan
40.65% - Nigeria
37.95% - Zimbabwe
35.46% - Laos
34.66% - Brunei
31.79% - Ethiopia
29.2% - Kenya.
