AMD has shown a tablet with Windows 8 and AMD chip Trinity


AMD has demonstrated at Computex 2012 in Taipei tablet operating system, Windows 8. More precisely, this reference design, made by Compal. Commercial production of this device is not planned, but the model can be taken as a basis for issuing its own decisions by other companies. The device runs on a processor AMD Trinity, which, according to the company, can provide a decent performance and at the same time, long battery life with very compact dimensions.

The tablet is equipped with 11.6-inch touchscreen display with 1366 x 768 pixels. In addition, the device comes with a detachable docking station with a QWERTY-keyboard, turning it into something like a laptop. However, and without it you can set the tablet on the table, for example, to view the video: On the back of the leg is folded-blank range.
