4G LTE network by Yota launched in Ufa

On the night of July 29, 2012 Yota launched a fourth-generation LTE network in Ufa. The technology LTE (Long Term Evolution) allows you to transfer large amounts of data at high speeds and is used mainly for Internet access from mobile devices. The operator recalls that the device WiMAX, previously worked in the network Yota, can not receive the signal LTE, so that subscribers who do not have time to get a new device in advance, must do so at the points of sales. At the same time, a few days ago we wrote about the launch of 4G network MegaFon in Ufa on July 29. As you know, Vodafone, according to an agreement with Yota, builds on its LTE network infrastructure. However, the fourth-generation network MegaFon provides a "seamless" transition to a 2G or 3G-networks at the exit of the coverage 4G.
