Ericsson receives 2012 NGN Leadership Award for its Experience Manager
Award highlights Ericsson’s exceptional work in advancing next-generation services and technologies

Experience Manager lets service providers see their services from the subscriber viewpoint, helping them address service assurance and service quality management
Ericsson’s (NASDAQ: ERIC) Experience Manager (formerly Telcordia® Service Director) has been awarded the 2012 NGN Leadership Award from INTERNET TELEPHONY magazine and Next Gen Mobility magazine. The award recognizes the growth and evolution of today’s network technologies, including infrastructure and enabling technologies, as well as applications and services designed to be delivered on these advanced networks.

"The NGN Leadership Award highlights the exceptional work of those companies that are advancing next-generation services and technologies," stated Rich Tehrani, CEO, TMC. "The Ericsson Experience Manager has proven that its innovation has contributed to the transformation of the industry."

Ericsson Experience Manager helps operators to identify and resolve service quality affecting conditions more rapidly and intelligently than conventional monitoring or performance management systems, by collecting, deriving and analyzing metrics from service providers’ various network elements, application servers and end-user devices. The solution rapidly spots issues, diagnoses root causes and prioritizes responses before those issues reach the customer, ensuring brand loyalty while reducing support costs.

"When operators make faster, more informed decisions for a more positive customer experience, they boost subscriber satisfaction and gain a competitive edge," said Elisabetta Romano, Head of OSS, Business Unit Support Solutions, Ericsson. "This award recognizes the value that Experience Manager offers service providers, and we are honored to receive it."
