Sony has introduced the fastest card in a series of XQD S
Japanese company Sony announced a new model of high XQD memory card, high performance and reliability. The technology, presented in a series of XQD S, has a speed of read / write - 168 MB / s (actual speed), thus surpassing the limit on the speed of data transmission interface, CF (Compact Flash) memory card - 168 MB / s.
The company notes that these parameters of its product in tandem with a professional digital SLR camera Nikon D4, supports this format memory card allows you to record uninterrupted 108 RAW shots (12-bit compressed RAW file size in one shot about 10.5 MB), which shooting at a speed of 10 frames per second will make it possible to capture all the sprint race at 100 meters - from beginning to end.
Admission to the sale of 64 GB version of Sony memory cards new series XQD S is scheduled for this month. 32 GB version is expected later - September / October.
