Taiwan-based WiMAX operator Vmax Telecom has announced it has completed its first-phase WiMAX infrastructure rollout and plans to kick off commercial operations once it gets approval from the National Communications Commission (NCC).
Vmax also said that it has teamed up with a number of IT companies and organizations, including Gjun Information, InfoExplorer and National Taiwan University of Science and Technology, aiming to push sales of its services to the business sector initially.
