Taiwan market: Chunghwa Telecom posts net profit of almost NT$4 billion for November

Chunghwa Telecom (CHT) on December 10 reported unaudited net profit of NT$3.807 billion (US$118 million) for November 2009, with January-November net profit of NT$40.606 billion translating into net earnings per share (EPS) of NT$4.18.

CHT said it had about 1.59 million FTTx subscribers and 390,000 ADSL subscribers at download speeds of 8Mbps or above as of the end of November 2009.

Taiwan Mobile (TWM) and Far EasTone Telecommunications (FET) on December 10 also released their financial figures for November 2009.
