Cheap Wi-Fi adapters Edimax

Edimax Technology (TSEC: 3047) announced two new 802.11n standard solutions for notebooks and desktop computers. EW-7727In, 32-bit wireless PCI card, and EW-7717Un, wireless USB adapter are simplified versions of existing devices EW-7728In and EW-7718Un. The new adapter supports advanced MIMO technology, providing high bandwidth and larger coverage area network. In doing so, the cost of devices similar to the existing 802.11b / g solutions. The new network adapters have a special architecture that provides significantly less energy than traditional 11n devices.



Map EW-7727In connects a desktop computer with a wireless network and provides access to high-speed Internet, transfer files and mediapotokov at a distance scale home or office. Compact Wireless USB Adapter EW-7717Un allows the user to the home or office network to connect your laptop to wireless communications, guaranteeing the security of Wi-Fi connection. EW-7727In and EW-7717Un fully compatible with existing wireless standards 802.11b/g/n.

Algorithms WPA/WPA2 and WEP encryption helps prevent unauthorized access to your network and protect your information. In addition, both products support WPS (Wi-Fi Protected Setup) feature that allows users to easily install the protection of wireless communications. Adapters also support the WMM (Wireless Multi Media), WMM-PS and QoS (Quality-of-Service). EW-7727In equipped with two movable 3dBi antennas that lets you use the card in conjunction with relokatorom Edimax EA-MARS to optimize coverage of wireless communications.

In late 2008, Edimax will produce a simplified model of wireless (802.11n) broadband router, in addition to this line of products.
