Regulus Platform

The Regulus Platform is a multi board solution which feattures a piggy back eSOM270 - computer on module and carrier board/base board. The computer on module consists the PXA270 ultra low power microprocessor, SDRAM flash memory plus a power management IC. The Customers can choose to design carrier boards according to their needs and use the PXA270 computer on module. The Regulus platform comes up with a reference carrier board to this system on module having interfaces for almost all the peripherals supported by the PXA270.

The Regulus kit can be used as a rapid product development platform and customers can use this Regulus kit to test their application on the Windows CE BSP or Linux BSP provided by e-con. In addition to the BSP e-con provides reference schematics for the carrier board and hence carrier board design can be done in few weeks time thus enabling the customers to speed up time to market.

OEM Design Services
Customers can also contact e-con systems for carrier boar design based on eSOM270. e-con in the past has taken up product development services based on the eSOM270 computer on module. In addition to that e-con systems has also done Windows CE BSP / Linux BSP porting on the carrier board developed by the customers. Sometimes this has included Linux / windows CE driver development too.
