Sales of handsets in the Taiwan market dropped 4.4% sequentially to 519,000 units in April, the lowest level since 2007, according to data compiled by local retail channels.
Nokia remained the top vendor in the local market with a 29.7% share in terms of unit sales, followed by Sony Ericsson with 19.2% and Samsung Electronics with 18.7%, the data showed.
