DigitalCube iSTATION S3: media player with support for HD-video, and OLED-display

Company DigitalCube within the exhibition IFA2009 introduced their model of a portable media player. Device is called iSTATION S3 and built on the basis of chipset Samsung C100. Like most modern media player it can play HD-video, along with other types of multimedia files. Notable is the lack of a standard USB connector - instead, the model has its own database with the port HDMI v.1.2.

Player iSTATION S3 has a capacitive touch-sensitive OLED-screen 3.5-inch diagonal and a resolution of 800x480 pixels, and its dimensions are 117,6 h59, 6h14, 5 mm. Model can have 8, 16 or 32 GB of internal memory, expansion slots provided. The device supports audio formats MP3, WMA, AAC, AAC +, OGG, FLAC, APE, WAV, PCM / APCM. In the list of supported video formats appear on MPEG 1/2/4, DivX 3/4/5/6, Xvid, WMV9 and H.264 at up to 30 fps. In addition, the subtitle formats are supported by SMI and SRT, as well as graphic files JPEG, BMP and PNG.

On the timing of the market and the cost of the media player iSTATION S3 are not reported.
