Company Yandex reported that the application Mobile Yandex.Maps an opportunity to find the company and the company by name or type of activity. Search organizations is available in more than a hundred Russian cities and in Kiev.
Now the owners of mobile devices can be found on the city map, any organization, such as McDonald's or pool, and even once there call - the number of prompt mobile maps. In the first application will offer those objects which are located on the open map fragment. To find the nearest organization, the user must select the desired area and then use the search.
In response to queries that may indicate the geographic object, and the company name, mobile maps will show both. For example, for [the flowers] in the tab "Address" will be street Flowers Siberia (Novosibirsk) and the village of flowers, and in laying the "Organization" - flower shops.
New version of mobile application provides users with a single map of the world - such as a Web service. It includes detailed diagrams of cities in Russia, Ukraine and Kazakhstan. Version 3.01 supports the platform Windows Mobile, Symbian and Java, you can download it here.
