The official announcement of Android-smartphone Motorola MILESTONE for Europe

Motorola has officially announced the smartphone MILESTONE, this version of the model DROID, but only for GSM and WCDMA. Motorola MILESTONE will be sold in Europe, the first device to appear in Germany and Italy. Obviously, MILESTONE not differ in functionality from DROID, which will soon be released in the U.S. operator Verizon. Except, of course, cellular standards: Motorola MILESTONE supports GSM / GPRS (850/900/1800/1900 MHz) and WCDMA / HSPA (900/2100 MHz).

In addition, the GSM-version has support for multi-touch, which for some reason blocked by Motorola DROID. And the rest, is the same smartphone running Android 2.0, equipped with 3.7-inch touch screen, sliding QWERTY-keyboard and 5-megapixel camera. Cost Motorola MILESTONE for Europe has not yet formally announced.
