KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — U.S. Cellular associates who go above and beyond to provide extraordinary service are recognized each year as "the best of the best" with the President's Award.
Of the nine recipients nationwide of this year's President's Award, two live and work in Knoxville: Scott Krueger and Adam McChesney.
"The President's Award is my way of saying 'thank you' to associates who have gone the extra mile to provide the ideal customer experience," said Jack Rooney, president and CEO of U.S. Cellular. "I am proud of our winners, whose actions speak 'Believe in Something Better' louder than words ever can."
Winners of the 2010 President's Award received a weekend for two in Chicago, hosted by Jack Rooney, April 23-25. During the weekend, award recipients and their guests attended a Chicago White Sox baseball game at U.S. Cellular Field as well as an award banquet held in their honor. Winners also received a President's Award plaque and check for $1,000.
Scott Krueger is a senior technical support engineer. Son of Dee and Vinita Finnesy of Goodland, Kan., he resides in Farragut with his wife Patrice. Krueger's daughter, Brandi, and her husband, Doug Foret, reside in Marrero, La., with children Mason, Emma and Cole.
Adam McChesney is a sales manager at the U.S. Cellular store in Turkey Creek. Son of Joe and Rhonda McChesney of Seymour, Tenn., he resides in Sevierville with his wife Debbie and his three-year-old daughter Abby.
