Windows Phone Nokia Maps app confirmed, Sabre and Ace specs leak

Nokia’s Windows Phone mapping application has made its way to the marketplace whilst other device names and specifications leaked over the weekend.

WinRumors exclusively revealed that Nokia’s Windows Phone devices will include 3D voice navigation, courtesy of Nokia’s Drive application. A Nokia Maps application has now been spotted in the Windows Phone Marketplace. Wpxap.com discovered the listing over the weekend. The Nokia Maps application includes reviews, public transport information and basic directions support. Nokia is also expected to make its drive application available for Windows Phone at launch. The application includes 3D maps and true turn-by-turn navigation.

In other news, Nokia’s Windows Phone names and specifications leaked over the weekend. Nokia is also expected to unveil a third Windows Phone device codenamed “ace.” The MyNokiaBlog site posted all the specifications of Nokia’s Windows Phone devices on Saturday:

Nokia is expected to unveil its first Windows Phone powered device at its Nokia World 2011 conference in London later this month. A large number of Microsoft employees will also be speaking at Nokia World to detail the latest improvements with Windows Phone 7.5 and presumably some of Nokia’s software enhancements. Nokia is believed to be preparing its “Sea Ray” device for the first official public unveiling, alongside “Ace” and “Sabre” devices. Nokia Windows Phone devices are expected to hit shelves in time for the holidays.
