[Las Vegas, 11 January, 2012]: Huawei, a leading global information and communications technology (ICT) solutions provider, is showcasing its full range of LTE devices at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2012, including its first LTE smartphone, the Huawei Ascend P1 lte. In addition, Huawei will showcase its latest LTE modem, the E3276, and its newest LTE router, the E5776. A total of nine Huawei LTE terminal devices will be on display.

Since initiating LTE R&D efforts in 2004, Huawei has been a global leader in the development of LTE technology and has led the way in commercial LTE rollouts. Moreover, Huawei maintains membership in every LTE standardization organization, and company representatives hold important positions in a number of LTE groups. Huawei's role in the development of LTE has resulted in several industry firsts as well as a leadership position in LTE standards, patents, and global LTE commercialization.

Huawei's commitment to LTE expansion around the world is evident given that its end-to-end, convergent LTE solutions include the provision of terminal devices for end users. Huawei's LTE product display at CES offers the chance to see the company's full series of LTE devices in one location. The highlight of the showcase is undoubtedly the Huawei Ascend P1 lte, the LTE-enabled version of Huawei's latest smartphone. Running on a high-performance, dual-core 1.5G processor and featuring a 4.3-inch Super AMOLED display, the Huawei Ascend P1 lte enables users to take advantage of the latest LTE technology and enjoy unprecedented data transfer speeds on their smartphones.

Also on display are the E3276, Huawei's newest LTE modem, and the E5776, Huawei's newest LTE router. Both of these devices support LTE Category 4, offering downlink data rates of up to 150 Mbps and uplink data rates of 50 Mbps. Huawei is the first vendor in the world capable of supporting LTE Category 4, and both of these products offer a first look at the full capabilities of this latest standard.

Additional Huawei LTE modems on display are the E392, the world's first LTE TDD /FDD /UMTS/ GSM multi-mode USB modem; the E397B, will be launched later in Latin America; and the E398, the world's first triple-mode LTE modem.

The E589, a multi-mode router with support for LTE, 3G, and 2G, is the sole other LTE router on display.

Finally, Huawei is also showcasing the EM920—an LTE module—as well as the B593, the world's first LTE TDD wireless broadband router, offering support for both LTE TDD and FDD, downlink data rates of up to 100 Mbps, and access for up to 32 WiFi devices and desktop computers through its Ethernet port.
