HTC One X and 16 other NFC-smart certified for MasterCard PayPass


The company MasterCard has announced that a number of smartphones with Wi-Fi support NFC technology are certified to work with its payment service MasterCard PayPass. This technology enables contactless payments directly from your mobile device. Among the devices that can work with MasterCard PayPass - BlackBerry Bold 9900/9790, BlackBerry Curve 9360/9380, HTC One X, Intel Smartphone Reference Device, LG Viper 4G LTE, LG Optimus Elite, Nokia 603, Nokia Lumia 610 NFC, Samsung Wave Y, Samsung Galaxy mini 2, Samsung Galaxy S Advance, Samsung Galaxy Nexus (GT-i9250), Sony Xperia S, Sony Xperia P and Sony Xperia sola, that is, a total of 17 models.

In addition, MasterCard has developed a special identifier MasterCard PayPass Ready, which tells that the device is working with this technology. This is a sticker on the mobile device itself and on its packaging. Some manufacturers have already indicated support for the brand - it is Nokia and RIM. Apparently, the appropriate label to appear on their smart phones with NFC.
