Google Nexus 7: inexpensive tablet with NVIDIA Tegra Android 3 and 01.04 Jelly Bean


At the conference, Google I / O 2012 took the announcement tablet Google Nexus 7. This is the first tablet under its own brand of Internet giant: earlier in the Nexus line included only smartphones. As expected, the plate was developed in partnership with ASUSTeK Computer, a model is built on a quad processor, NVIDIA Tegra 3 and operating system, Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, who also had just presented.

The tablet features a 7-inch touch-IPS-display with a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels, 1.2-megapixel front camera (the camera on the back there) and 1 GB of RAM. From wireless technologies supported by the Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and NFC, and the amount of internal memory is 8 or 16 GB. In addition, the new tablet includes a GPS-receiver, a magnetometer, gyroscope and accelerometer. On a single charge Google Nexus 7 can run for about 8 hours. In addition, the model is fairly easy - it weighs 340 grams.

Google Nexus 7 tablet goes on sale in the U.S., Canada, UK and Australia in mid-July (it will appear later in other countries). Modification with 8 GB of internal memory will cost $ 199, but with 16 GB - $ 249, now available to order in the Google Play Store.
