ZTE Grand Era U985 - thin quad smartphone for the Chinese market

The company ZTE has announced another smartphone that should replenish the company's portfolio in China. The model is called the ZTE Grand Era U985 and is positioned as the world's thinnest smartphone with a quad-core processor. What causes some confusion, as the thickness of 7.9 mm, it is only in the most delicate place, and reaches a maximum of 8.6 mm, which is obviously larger than 8.45 mm in the recently introduced LG Optimus G. If we talk about the technical specifications the device, the device is based on the platform with Tegra 3 quad-core processor (clock speed is not shown), has a 4.5-inch touch screen with a resolution of 1280 by 720 pixels and is equipped with 8-megapixel camera with autofocus and BSI matrix that supports HD-video recording. Model works in networks of the Chinese standard 3G - TD-SCDMA. Besides the odd statement that ZTE Grand Era U985 is the thinnest smartphone of its kind, perplexing and elected by the entourage, a model for the interior. In the frame besides the phone of a laptop and other small items are located and two scale models of military equipment since World War II. Nothing strange would not have happened if it was not a military technology of the Third Reich (road vehicle VW Tour 82 Kübelwagen and heavy tank PzKpfw VI Ausf E Tiger I). Symbolism in the frame does not hit, but the choice in some ways puzzling, at least to the fact that nothing of the product by Volkswagen and Henschel for mobile applications have not.
