Easton, Ohio, Residents To Benefit From Verizon Wireless Network Enhancements

New Cell Site Means Clearer Reception, Fewer Dropped Calls.

EASTON, OHIO — Verizon Wireless, the wireless company with the highest customer loyalty, has activated a new cell site near Easton, which will enable more customers to use their wireless phones concurrently to make calls; send and receive e-mail and text, picture and video messages; access the Internet; and download games and ringtones, while enjoying clearer reception and fewer dropped calls.

The new cell site improves coverage:

•East along State Route 604 from just east of County Road 57A to State Route 585;
•South along State Route 57 from Milton Road to just north of Pleasant Home Road;
•Southeast along State Route 585 from State Route 94 to State Route 57;
•South along State Route 94 from State Route 604 to just north of Pleasant Home Road.
“Network reliability is the No. 1 reason that customers choose and stay with Verizon Wireless,” said Roger Tang, president–Ohio/Pennsylvania/West Virginia Region, Verizon Wireless. “Getting through on the first try and maintaining a connection are important to our customers. We continue to optimize our network so that it remains the most reliable in the nation.”

This network improvement is part of Verizon Wireless’ continual effort to expand coverage, improve capacity and enhance the quality of its wireless voice and data network in Ohio and throughout the country. Verizon Wireless has invested more than $50 billion since it was formed—$5.5 billion on average every year—to increase the coverage and capacity of its premier nationwide network and to add new services. In the first half of this year, the company invested more than $160 million in its Ohio network.
