SED International Takes Leading Computer and Consumer Electronics Products 'on the Road'

SED Officials, Dealers and Vendors Get Rowdy at House of Blues in Dallas, Texas.

TUCKER, Ga., -- Last month, SED International Holdings, Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: SECX), a multinational supply chain management provider and distributor of leading computer technology, wireless communications and consumer electronics, hosted a special invitational event at the House of Blues in Dallas, Texas to provide computer and consumer electronics dealers in attendance with numerous value-driven business building ideas; sneak peeks at highly anticipated new technologies and products coming to market; and professional insight into emerging consumer and market trends that could yield strong sales growth opportunities for resellers, retailers and e-tailers, alike.

This event - attended by 220 dealers, vendors and SED officials - is the second in a series of "Road Shows" hosted or to be hosted by the Company over the next several months in an effort to better serve and educate dealers and resellers on the powerful advantages of diversifying their product offerings and proactively expanding their businesses. The first Road Show rolled into Birmingham, Alabama in late February and featured presentations, new products and special show-only promotional offers.

In Dallas, SED was joined by several of its most prominent vendors - including Acer, AOpen, Channel Master, Cisco's Flip Video, Clickfree, CyberPower, Gigabyte, HiFi Works, Inland, IOGEAR, Kingston, Microsoft, Mobile Edge, MSI, Panasonic, ProMounts, Samsung, SIIG, TomTom, Transcend and Western Digital, who showcased and demonstrated a wide range of cutting-edge new technologies and products available through SED. Even Rowdy, the Official Mascot of the Dallas Cowboys, made an appearance, helping to top off what everyone agreed was an enormously successful event.

Specific highlights of the evening included prize drawings, special "Road Show-Only" promotional offers and break-out presentations that included:

•An advance look at Windows 7, scheduled for release by Microsoft later this year;
•The Future of Notebooks and Netbooks by Acer;
•The Latest in HDTV by Samsung; and
•Opportunities in Digital Signage by AOpen and Panasonic.

One of the products that attendees were particularly impressed with was the full line of Flip Video(TM) pocket-sized camcorders, now being distributed by SED to authorized dealers and resellers nationwide. "Flip Video camcorders are certainly one of SED's most popular products this year - they are flying out of our distribution centers!" stated Tom Roper, Vice President of Consumer Electronics Purchasing at SED. "It came as no surprise to us that these products were so popular in Dallas at the Road Show."

Since its debut in 2007, the Flip Video(TM) camcorder line has sold more than 2 million units and quickly become one of the best-selling and most highly-lauded camcorder brands on the market today. Recently acquired by Cisco and operating as part of its Consumer Business Group, the Flip Video line of camcorders offers consumers the simplest and most affordable way to capture and share high quality video. The new Flip Ultra(TM) and Flip UltraHD(TM) camcorders have set an entirely new standard for convenient and affordable video capture, offering a full two hours of recording capacity, a bright two-inch transflective screen for no-glare viewing, even in direct sunlight, and an innovative AA rechargeable battery pack that can be conveniently recharged through the camera's built-in USB arm. According to The New York Times, the Flip Video(TM) camcorder is "one of the most significant electronics products of the year."

To qualify as an authorized reseller of Cisco's Flip Video camcorder products, please go to www.theflip.com/resellers/SED.aspx and complete the special application.

Commenting on SED's Road Show strategy, Jonathan Elster, President and COO at SED, said, "Given the state of the economy, we understand that it is essential for SED to play a much more meaningful role in educating our dealers and resellers on ways they can counteract price and margin erosion endemic to computer tech products by diversifying into consumer electronics, while also empowering them with ideas on how they can create much richer and convenient shopping experiences for their customers. What's more, we can't think of a better (or more enjoyable) way to help them grasp what's possible than to take our message on the road, delivering our ideas and a whole host of leading product offerings and solutions directly to their front door."
