Russia's newest customers communicator HTC Hero and HTC Tattoo can be satisfied - now the device will be available in the expanded configuration - with the navigation package Sygic Russia. This was reported by the company "Vobis Computer, the official distributor of HTC.
Given the lack of Android-version of navigation software from a leading provider of navigation software company HTC, Android-device vendor (HTC Hero) to date were delivered to Russia without the above options. Thus, the model with Android OS have a clear competitive disadvantage compared with the communicators on the basis of other platforms.
Navigation package Sygic is the only one in Russia and one of the world's first full-featured navigation systems for the mobile platform Android. "Vobis Computer" earlier including a navigation package Sygic Russia supplied its own communicator Highscreen PP5420 - the first officially delivered to Russia communicator based OS Android. What is particularly nice, retail price of these devices will not change. Of course, the package Sygic Russia will be bundled only with guglofonami HTC, achievable by "Vobis Computer.
"Vobis Computer" will wholesale supply HTC Hero and HTC Tattoo in extended navigation software configuration to the end of October 2009. The company also plans to complete the package free Sygic Russia second device's own product line Android-communicators Highscreen - Zeus. This model will be the first in Russia guglofonom form factor side slider with QWERTY-keyboard. Communicator should appear on the shelves of retailers in November 2009.
