Samsung Galaxy Note reaches FCC with AT&T-ready 3G

Galaxy Note appears at FCC, due at AT&T soon

The Samsung Galaxy Note has now appeared at the FCC. The listing reveals that the large handset, meant to be a hybrid of smartphone and tablet, will support AT&T's HSPA+ 3G bands. It could also work on larger Canadian carriers.

The Note sports a 5.3-inch Super AMOLED touchscreen that has a very dense 1280x800 resolution. The Note ships with Android 2.3 and has a 1.4GHz processor. Up front is an eight-megapixel camera, with a two-megapixel camera in the rear. It has the ability to record and playback 1080p video. Samsung only integrates 2GB of storage space, with a microSDHC card slot letting users expand the space.

The FCC listing is an indication that the Galaxy Note will be out before year's end, as expected, though not necessarily in the US.
